Stability of adaptively stabilized stochastic systems

چکیده
The sliding-mode control of nonlinear uncertain systems with un-modeled first-order actuator dynamics has been considered. A 2-SMC scheme with adaptive switching rule has been proposed, and its effectiveness has been shown for a class of systems encompassing non zero-input-stable (ZIS) systems and non-BIBS stable plants. The proposed algorithm is easy to implement and therefore suited to being used in practice; it is also effective in counteracting the transient peaking phenomenon. REFERENCES [1] N. Atassi and H. Abstract—Stochastic adaptive stabilization usually leads to the bounded-ness of the average of squared output of the stabilized system, but gives no conclusion on stability of the resulting system. This note proves that adap-tively stabilized stochastic system in its steady state is truly stable in the conventional sense.

Almost sure exponential stability of stochastic reaction diffusion systems with Markovian jump
The stochastic reaction diffusion systems may suffer sudden shocks, in order to explain this phenomena, we use Markovian jumps to model stochastic reaction diffusion systems. In this paper, we are interested in almost sure exponential stability of stochastic reaction diffusion systems with Markovian jumps. Under some reasonable conditions, we show that the trivial solution of stocha...
متن کاملRobust stability of stochastic fuzzy impulsive recurrent neural networks with\ time-varying delays
In this paper, global robust stability of stochastic impulsive recurrent neural networks with time-varyingdelays which are represented by the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy models is considered. A novel Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI)-based stability criterion is obtained by using Lyapunov functional theory to guarantee the asymptotic stability of uncertain fuzzy stochastic impulsive recurrent neural...
متن کاملStability analysis of support systems using a coupled FEM-DFN model (Case study: a diversion tunnel at Lorestan dam site, Iran)
Various structural discontinuities, which form a discrete fracture network, play a significant role in the failure conditions and stability of the rock masses around underground excavations. Several continuum numerical methods have been used to study the stability of underground excavations in jointed rock masses but only few of them can take into account the influence of the pre-existing natur...
متن کاملNew Approach to Exponential Stability Analysis and Stabilization for Delayed T-S Fuzzy Markovian Jump Systems
This paper is concerned with delay-dependent exponential stability analysis and stabilization for continuous-time T-S fuzzy Markovian jump systems with mode-dependent time-varying delay. By constructing a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and utilizing some advanced techniques, less conservative conditions are presented to guarantee the closed-loop system is mean-square exponentially stable....
متن کاملImpulsive stabilization of stochastic functional differential equations
This paper investigates impulsive stabilization of stochastic delay differential equations. Both moment and almost sure exponential stability criteria are established using the Lyapunov–Razumikhinmethod. It is shown that an unstable stochastic delay system can be successfully stabilized by impulses. The results can be easily applied to stochastic systems with arbitrarily large delays. An exampl...
